Who We Are

Since 1972, the Humane Society of Clinton County (HSCC) has served the community through saving homeless dogs and cats.

Whether you are looking to bring a new pet into your family, searching for your lost pet, have made the difficult decision to surrender your pet or are looking for educational opportunities, HSCC is here to help.

Making a Difference

Humane Society of Clinton County, Inc. exists to promote the welfare of dogs and cats within our community as well as provide general education for all pet owners and animal lovers.  We connect with community partners for volunteer and donation opportunities that aid in the comfort, health and well-being of our animals.

The objective is for each and every dog or cat to experience their forever home in a safe and nurturing environment.

We will still be conducting adoptions, but will schedule meet and greets with approved applications only. We will be working to ensure all of our available animals are on our PetFinder and to highlight available animals every day on social media. If you’re interested in adopting, but not sure what you want; fill out an application and we will schedule a time for you to come visit and try to find you a match. If you have a scheduled visit and are feeling ill or having flu-like symptoms please contact us to reschedule.
